My Carrier Packet

Connecting Your MCP Account
  1. Access the Integrations Tab Click the Settings button, then select Admin Settings. From there, navigate to the Integrations tab.

  2. Enter MCP Credentials Input your MCP Customer ID, API Username, and API Password, all of which can be found within your MCP account.

  3. Save and Sync After saving your credentials, your account will be connected. You’re now ready to sync all carriers.

Initial Carrier Sync
  1. Once your MCP connection is successfully established, a My Carrier Portal card will appear in the top-right corner of the Carriers tab.

  2. Sync Your Carriers Click the Sync button to import all of your MCP carriers directly into ARK.

  3. Automatic Matching and Updates If a carrier already exists in ARK, the system will automatically match it using the MC Number as the unique identifier and update it with the latest information from MCP. This includes:

  • Banking information

  • Factoring company details

Inviting Carriers

You can invite carriers through My Carrier Portal (MCP) directly within ARK:

  1. Send an Invite In the Carriers tab, click the Invite button located in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter Carrier Details You’ll be prompted to enter the carrier’s DOT Number or MC (Docket) Number. Once entered, a list of associated email addresses will appear.

  3. Select an Email

    • Emails marked with a green checkmark are MCP-approved and verified as legitimate contact emails for that carrier.

    • Choose one or more of these to send the invite.

  4. Override Required?

    • If you receive a message stating that an override is required, a user with MCP login credentials must log in to MCP and manually select “Override Carrier.”

    • Only after this override is completed will the carrier packet be approved and sent.

Updating a carrier

If a carrier's insurance appears expired in ARK but you know their information in MCP is up to date:

  1. Use the Refresh Button Click the green refresh icon next to the carrier’s name.

  2. Sync Without a New Packet This action will sync the carrier's latest details, including current insurance, from MCP into ARK. No new packet signature will be required.

Manually Adding Carriers (Outside of MCP)

Even with MCP integration active, users can still manually add carriers by clicking the “+” (Add Carrier) button at the top of the Carriers page.

⚠️ Important: Carriers added manually will not have a completed MCP packet and will not include MCP-synced information such as insurance or banking details.

  1. Team Alignment Ensure your team is aligned on when and why to use manual adds to avoid incomplete carrier records.

  2. Restrict Manual Adds (Optional) To enforce the use of MCP for all carrier onboarding, manual carrier creation can be disabled per user, allowing them to invite carriers only through MCP.
